"Cynefin" is a Welsh word that describes a sense of belonging, connection and being rooted within a community. This forum embodies that spirit, providing an inclusive and supportive space for GP members of the South West Wales Faculty to come together, reflect and support one another.

Please note that this is not a forum for formal supervision, counselling or professional advice. Instead, it offers a space for conversation, reflection and peer support, recognising that we can often navigate complexity and uncertainty more effectively together than alone.

We are delighted to be welcoming new Members and Fellows to the RCGP Wales Members' and Fellows' Ceremony in Swansea on 25 November 2026.

This special occasion provides an opportunity to celebrate the achievement of attaining Membership or Fellowship of the Royal College of General Practitioners alongside colleagues, friends and family. The ceremony also recognises the dedication, hard work and commitment of our GP community, celebrating the individuals who continue to make a difference to patients, practices and communities across Wales and beyond.

Taking place at the Swansea Building Society Arena, the day will include gowning and photography, the formal ceremony, and a drinks reception to mark the occasion. We look forward to celebrating with our newest Members and Fellows and sharing this memorable milestone with their loved ones.
