It was great to be joined by Kerry Ferguson AS/MS - Ceredigion Penfro, as well as local councillors and the Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Aberystwyth on a recent guided walk.
Rachel from our Policy and Campaigns team shared her first-hand experience of walking through the town centre.
We appreciate everyone taking the time to learn more about the hazards people with sight loss face when travelling.

Tell us how increased living costs are affecting you.
Prices are rising, and we know that blind and partially sighted people can be disproportionately affected.
You might be paying more for electricity because you need additional lighting at home, or maybe you don’t go out to socialise because travel is too expensive.
If you’ve got a spare 10 minutes, take our survey and share your experience. We’ll use the findings to call on decision-makers to take action and provide better support for people with sight loss.

Sight loss comes with extra costs.
From higher energy bills to transport and shopping, if you're blind or partially sighted, you likely have to pay more just for day-to-day living.
We're running a short survey to help us understand how these higher costs affect you, so we can call on decision makers to provide better support.
