A very successful weekend of fundraising was had by our group volunteers. We were at Tesco Carmarthen on Saturday & Sunday last week and raised a fantastic £579.58.
A big Thank You to the staff for a lovely welcome and many thanks to all of the customers who came up to say Hello to our volunteers and Guide Dogs.

It's the bank holiday weekend, and we have a doggie birthday to celebrate. The gorgeous Quinn will be 8 years old on Good Friday. Have a lovely birthday and we hope you are going to be spoilt.

What an amazing window display. Norma Davies Opticians in King Street have chosen to support Guide Dogs Cymru as their Charity of the Year. The window to their Carmarthen & Morriston shops have been painted to show their support. It looks amazing.

Is it too early to mention the 'C' word?? (Shhhh Christmas!!)
One of wonderful supporters has been busy knitting snowmen for the group to sell closer to festive period.
All proceeds will come to Guide dogs and we want to say a BIG thank you to Mrs Eileen Jones, who at 94 years young is busy supporting many charities with her amazing knitted snowmen.

Can you look after one of our Dogs?
No, not the real smiling Labradoodle called Edgar on left, but one of our Iconic Dog shaped Collection boxes.
We are looking for any business, company, shop, sports team, pub, cafe etc etc to host one of our boxes during Guide Dogs Cymru 40th anniversary year in 2026. Each of these boxes has a potential to collect much needed income for Guide Dogs. We have volunteers who will place the box and service it regularly.

Our speaker Davina along with Guide Dog Crindau had a lovely welcome recently with Llandovery Merched Y Wawr. The ladies enjoyed hearing all about Guide Dogs and how Crindau is supporting Davina. Thank you so much for the lovely donation.

The volunteers had a lovely day at Barclays branch in Carmarthen today. Many thanks to the staff for the warm welcome.

What a lovely day fundraising at Tesco Superstore in Carmarthen today.
Big thank you to Davina, Mel with Crindau and Charlie, Zoe with Kally who collected an amazing £295.65.
Thank you to all customers who donated money into the buckets and to Tesco staff for the welcome.
Wishing all Carmarthen volunteers, Guide Dog owners and supporters a very Merry Christmas and a happy and healthy New Year.

If you were shopping at Morrisons in Carmarthen today you would have seen our volunteers there. Davina with Guide dog Crindau and Skye with Guide dog Iris were fundraising in store. Help was on hand from Mel and Helen too.
Many thanks to our volunteers for always being so ready to fundraise.
Big thank you to Morrisons for allowing the group to collect in store and for the staff and customers for being so very generous.

We were at Barclays Bank in town today. Had some lovely chats with the staff and customers. Big thanks to Skye with GD Iris, Davina with GD Crindau and Riitta with GD Quinn. Also thanks to Helen, Mel and Rhodri.
Barclays have a hamper being raffled for Guide Dogs, draw on 1st August. 🥳🦮🦮🐾🐾
