Welcome to the public page for 1st Law Boys' Brigade where you can be kept up to date with all the goings on of the company for example competitions, fundraising, camps, activities and much more. The Company comprises of three sections which meet individually as follows:

• Anchor Boys – ages 4/5 – 8 years (school years P1-P3) – meet Fridays 6.30 to 7.30pm.

• Junior Section – ages 8 – 11

years (school years P4-P6) – meet Fridays 7.00 to 8.30pm

• Company and Senior Section – ages 11-18 years (school years P7 – S6) – meet Fridays 7.30 to 10.00pm

We’re looking forward to welcoming boys and families tonight as we enrol for the new BB session. All sections are invited — Anchors, Juniors and Company.

If you’ve already received your annual information forms by email, please bring them completed to save time.
If you can’t print them, don’t worry — we’ll have blank forms ready.

New to BB?
We’ll have joining forms available for anyone wanting to come along and be part of the Company this year.

Please help us spread the word across the village — 1st Law Boys’ Brigade is open to all boys, and we’d love to welcome new faces tonight.

⚓ 1st Law Boys’ Brigade — Enrolment Night 2026/27 ⚓

We’re enrolling this Friday, August 14th for all sections!
📍 Law Parish Church
⏰ 7–8 p.m.

We’re excited to welcome boys back for our 2026/27 session — and to meet new families who’d like to join the Boys’ Brigade here in Law.

📝 Forms & Registration:
All boys attending BB this year must hand in their annual information form (or joining form if you’re new).

📧 Current members:
We’ve emailed your forms so you can print and complete them in advance to save time on Friday.

🖨️ No printer? No problem.
We’ll have blank forms available on the night.

👋 New to BB?
Joining forms will be available at enrolment — just come along!

📣 Help Us Spread the Word:

⚓️ BB & GB THANKSGIVING SERVICE – SUNDAY 17TH MAY ⚓️

We’d love to see ALL our boys tomorrow morning at our thanksgiving service — a special service of thanks for the BB & GB companies in the Carluke and Law parish.

🕥 Meet: 10.35am at Kirkstyle Avenue (opposite Kirkton Primary)
🎺 Parade: March off at 10.45am led by the Wishaw & District BB Band
⛪ Service: 11am at the Station Road, Carluke building (formerly Kirkton Church)
🕧 Finish: Around 12.30pm back at Kirkstyle Avenue
👔 Uniform: Full uniform for ALL sections (Anchor, Juniors, Company & Seniors)

🎉✨ 1st LAW BB AWARDS NIGHT – FRIDAY 15TH MAY! ✨🎉

One of the biggest nights of our BB year is almost here, and we can’t wait to celebrate our boys and everything they’ve achieved!

Here’s what you need to know 👇

📍 Law Parish Church
⏰ Kings Men: Arrive 6.30pm
⏰ All other boys: Arrive by 6.45pm
🎖 Service begins: 7pm (approx. 1 hour)
👔 Full uniform required

This is always a brilliant evening as we recognise the hard work, commitment and achievements of our boys across all sections.

🍰 Tea & Cake Celebration
After the service, everyone is warmly invited to join us in the hall for tea, cake and a chance to celebrate together. Families very welcome — it’s a lovely way to finish the night.

📣 Battalion Awards Reminder – Tonight at Law Parish Church

A reminder that the Battalion Awards take place tonight at Law Church.

🕠 Please arrive for 5:45 p.m.
🕕 Awards begin at 6:00 p.m.
⏱ Approx. duration: 1 hour
👔 Dress: Full uniform
👦 Sections: Junior, Company & Seniors

Tonight we will be celebrating:
• Our third‑year Junior Section boys (P6) receiving their badges
• Our Presidents and second‑year King’s Badge boys
• The results of all Battalion competitions
• The announcement of this year’s Battalion Champions

Parents, family, and friends are warmly invited to come along and support the boys.

As this event is being held in our own church, it would be fantastic to see as many of our Juniors, Company, and Senior boys there as possible to cheer on those receiving awards.

We’re heading into a busy and exciting month for our boys, and we’d love to see as many families as possible joining us at these special events:

🏅 10 May – Battalion Awards

3rd Year Junior Section badges and President badges awarded

🎉 15 May – 1st Law Awards Night
A brilliant evening for all sections as boys receive their badges they have been working on throughout the session, followed by tea and cake together in the hall.
