Celebrate: LGBT History in Cumbria

Celebrate: LGBT History in Cumbria The first project to explore the history of Le***an, Gay, Bisexual and Trans* people in Cumbria.

CELEBRATE is the first project to explore and uncover the living history of the Le***an, Gay, Bisexual & Trans* (LGBT) community in Cumbria. The project was developed by OutREACH Cumbria in partnership with Tullie House Museum and Art Gallery, funded by Heritage Lottery Fund. We would love to hear about your memories, and to collect photographs and other objects reflecting the lives of LGBT people

in Cumbria. On our website (www.celebratecumbria.co.uk) you will be able to find out more about this project and access and contribute to the LGBT History Map.
