Today is 1 year since the surgery that started it all. Having went so well, we could never have been prepared for what was to come. So, I wrote you a song. I know how much you used to love singing along with me when I got the guitar out. Either that or you were just telling me to shut up!

When I feel myself getting too comfortable, I remember life with you, and the worst hell suddenly drowns me, knowing its all gone.

It will never be again. And I can only cling to hope that we will be together again.

I love you so much Blake. I don't know how much more my heart can break. It's everyday. Until we meet again.

I love you my little angel face. Come visit my dreams when the angels give you a minute. I understand you'll be winning hearts all over again, but don't forget to come heal ours.

Blake, writing cards without your name, trying to sleep without your cry, waking up without your face, trying to live after you have died, is the hardest thing we will ever do. We miss you so much baby boy and Christmas will never be the same without you, so come visit us while we sleep, and we might just begin to get by. Love you forever Blake. Tomorrow, we have been invited to switch the lights on in honour of Blake, at the Light up a life service at Jigsaw, Cumbria's Children's Hospice . We're beyond honoured to have been asked, it's a pretty moving service and will be all the more special for us now. Thank you Jigsaw, you're all absolutely amazing. 💙
