Today is 1 year since the surgery that started it all. Having went so well, we could never have been prepared for what was to come. So, I wrote you a song. I know how much you used to love singing along with me when I got the guitar out. Either that or you were just telling me to shut up!

When I feel myself getting too comfortable, I remember life with you, and the worst hell suddenly drowns me, knowing its all gone.

It will never be again. And I can only cling to hope that we will be together again.

I love you so much Blake. I don't know how much more my heart can break. It's everyday. Until we meet again.

Blake, writing cards without your name, trying to sleep without your cry, waking up without your face, trying to live after you have died, is the hardest thing we will ever do. We miss you so much baby boy and Christmas will never be the same without you, so come visit us while we sleep, and we might just begin to get by. Love you forever Blake.
