Everyone welcome to come along to enjoy a great afternoon at Thursby Village Show THIS SATURDAY 22 AUGUST. Plenty of exhibits - Plants & Flowers, Fruit & Vegetables, Cookery, Preserves, Handicrafts - to view and delicious homemade refreshments.

There is also a large Children's Section, covering ages 3 to 16. All the children of Thursby Primary School have taken part, as well as Thursby Guides and Thursby Friday Toddler Group.
Super opportunity to see what the children have been busy creating!

It is free for U 16s to enter the classes in the Children’s Section. Collect colouring pages and Entry forms from Orchard House on The Green Thursby. No need to knock - they are in a box in the porch ! Money prizes to be won 👏👏🥳

Only 3 weeks now until the Village Show.
All entries must be in by Saturday 15th August. (Including photograph entries as the judge will judge them prior to the show.)

The photograph classes have proved to be extremely popular since we introduced it a few years ago. So easy to enter as most people have their mobile phones with them and can quickly catch the perfect photo to enter.

It is 50p to enter and photos should be e mailed in by 15th August.

All entries are shown on loop in the Meeting Room on show day and I know a lot of people have enjoyed looking at them whilst enjoying a hot drink and a sweet treat !

It is 5 weeks until Thursby Show. It is free for children up to the age of 16 to enter the Children’s classes. There are cash prizes which will always come in handy in the school holidays. Entry forms can be collected from Orchard House on the Village Green ( they’re in a box in the porch so you don’t have to knock! )

There is a choice of pictures for children to colour in for this year’s show. They are available to collect from Orchard House on The Green. (There is a box in the porch so you don’t need to knock!) It is free to enter children’s categories and there is prize money to be had 😋
