Stanwix Community Centre Stanwix Community Association look after Carlisle's littlest community centre. We are a single room with a simple kitchen to prepare drinks and snacks.

The centre has broadband, wifi & an interactive whiteboard though it works from an SVGA connector. Stanwix Community Association are based in the north of Carlisle and look after a petite community centre and a small playing field on behalf of residents and organisations in Stanwix. Purely voluntary and always on the lookout for a fresh face or two, we welcome new people to the group. The centre i

s available 7 days a week and can be used for family celebrations, community events, private meetings, training courses, adult education and business events. It's a finely refurbished building which gives an airy and well lit space for your events, to help foster a sense of community in and around Stanwix and the wider area of Carlisle.

Did you know that Stanwix Community Centre is built right on top of the Al Petriana Roman Fort? It was the biggest fort on Hadrian's Wall, covering over 9 acres. Whilst our next talk isn't on the fort, there's no better place to learn more about our local history.
