We are hiring! A fabulous opportunity to join a small, friendly, hard working team and make a difference in the lives of Cumbrian children and young people. Based in Carlisle.

We are absolutely delighted for our award winning (Cumbria Best Garden Competition 2025!) Operations Manager, Louise, and the success of her new gardening business. We are, however, very sad that she will now be leaving PAC and it is leaving us with a gap in the team. After a bit of a re-jig we are now recruiting for an Office Manager. Please like and share so we reach as many people as possible to help us find somebody great for this role.

We are a small charity delivering therapeutic services to children and young people. Our team consists of 9 staff, including therapists, clinical leadership and charity management. The Office Manager plays a central role in holding the organisational, administrative and environmental structures that enable therapeutic work to thrive.

This donation comes from the generous people who connect at Carlisle Vineyard Church who have been collecting donations over the last few weeks specifically to give to young people and those who work with young people in and around Carlisle.

This donation will help to support our charity to continue the work that we do to provide free therapy for children and young people in and around Carlisle who need it 💙💛

Today we have packed 50 of our PAC packs ready to be launched 😀

Our Young Voice Group identified that the end of therapy could sometimes feel really hard for young people. So they came up with the idea of a PAC pack which could be given to children & young people as they are coming to the end of therapy with us. They have designed these packs and put thought into helpful items to go into them. The packs also include some contact details of local and national organisations that they might find useful & a stamped addressed envelope (so retro) to send their feedback to us.

They spoke, we listened and together we made PAC packs happen 😀👍🏼💙💛

We wanted to share this fantastic poem that was written for us by a young person from Young People First on their recent visit to us.

Some of their young people joined our Young Voice Group session a few weeks ago & completed their Building Audit for us.

During the session they were inspired to write this beautiful poem about PAC. Thank you so much from everybody here at PAC, we LOVE it!

PAC is a registered charity based in Carlisle that provides free therapeutic interventions for children and young people. We currently offer talking therapy, art therapy, music therapy & integrative therapy.

All sessions are confidential and held weekly at PAC’s building in Carlisle. The amount of therapy sessions offered will vary based on the client’s needs, engagement & attendance.

All of the PAC therapists are professionally qualified, accredited & registered with their regulatory body to ensure the highest standards of professionalism and care.
