***Message from Sam Turney*** 🙂

Thank you to everyone who came to the Farmers Market and supported my fundraiser. We made £718 in total which will be a big help in supporting my World Championship journey. Everyone has been so kind and generous it was amazing. And a big thank you to everyone who helped on the day, who baked and gave raffle prizes. Sam.

Join us at Houghton Village Hall Farmers' Market today Saturday, 8th August, from 9am to 1pm.
Enjoy a fantastic morning of shopping with a wide range of stalls offering fresh organic meat, seasonal vegetables, delicious bread, pies, jams, flowers and unique, high‑quality handcrafted gifts — all indoors and all supporting local businesses.
This month’s refreshments are raising funds for local lad Sam Turney, who will be representing Great Britain in the Under‑20 Triathlon World Championships in Spain and the Duathlon World Championships in Abu Dhabi later this year. Sam receives no financial support from Team GB, so every contribution helps him cover the costs of competing at international level. Your support will be greatly appreciated.
