Thank you for all the donations to our shop and kind words on our announcement.
Due to the generosity of the local community we have had to stop taking donations a week earlier than stated to ensure we can work through them all and re fill the shop with some fabulous bargains for you all. We are not accepting donations any longer.

It is with heavy heart, after a comprehensive review of our retail operations that we have decided to close our Denton Holme shop. Ongoing financial pressures facing the high street retail sector, rising operational costs and a shift in consumer habits including reduced footfall and growing competition from online resale platforms means that the shop would become financially unsustainable. We are incredibly grateful for the dedication and support of our staff, volunteers and the wonderful community. The staff and volunteers hard work and the community support has made a real difference to the lives of the local people we support with Cerebral palsy across Cumbria.
We are committed to supporting all staff and volunteers during this transition and exploring opportunities for re-deployment to our other locations in Brampton, Wigton and Cockermouth.
The shop will cease trading in March. We will continue accepting donations until the 30th January.
