Volunteer week 2026
A huge thank you to these incredible women who gave their time, energy, and heart to support our community. Your teamwork, dedication, and positivity made a real difference, and the hub couldn’t do half of what it does without you. Together, we’re creating a stronger, kinder, and more connected community.
It truly is amazing what happens when people who love our community come together. I am so proud to work as part of this team- a team who chooses collaboration over competition, compassion over ego, action over hesitation and it shows in the smiles and laughter of everyone we see in the hub, and at activities in other places. Every effort matters. Every voice adds value. By working together and valuing each other it really shows as we build a community rooted in support and possibilities.
Thank you to to each of you who shows up time and time again, not just for our community but also to each other. Thank you for contributing to the craziness, jumping in to the plans whether it’s cooking for 100+ people, supporting community members, making cups of tea or cleaning toilets. Thank you for believing in working side by side for something bigger than ourselves. Thank you for valuing our community and believing passionately that we should be doing all we can to help others in both big and small ways.
I will always shout about these amazing ladies, the amount of effort, time and kindness they put in to supporting the work of the hub is appreciated not just by me but by our community- I am so grateful, and thankful, to call each of them my friend.
