*** Local Community Members Needed ***

We are looking for up 5 local residents to attend a Pride in Place focus group on either Tuesday or Wednesday , 5:30–6:30pm, as part of the £20 million Pride in Place funding initiative.

The sessions, facilitated by The Pride Of Place Group will focus on our Community spaces and the activities for all (Tuesday) and Safety and security (Wednesday)

We want to ensure that members of our local community have a voice in how this funding is spent, helping to shape and improve our area for the future. Interested in taking part? Please get in touch if you would like to attend the meeting and we will get back to you to confirm your space- Tea and cake included. 😊🍰☕️.......................................................................
There will be a number of other focus group meetings taking place next week. To attend one of the others please contact the venue directly, or let us know and we can pass your details on for someone to get back to you.

5.30pm to 6.30pm – The Lookout.
Priority area: Community Spaces and Activities
Wednesday 14 October
5.30pm to 6.30pm – The Lookout.
Priority area: Safety and Security
Thursday 15 October-
5.30pm to 6.30pm- Yewdale Community Centre.
Priority area: Public Realm improvements including green spaces
Friday 16 October
5.30pm to 6.30pm – Morton Manor Community Centre.
Priority area: Education, Employment and Entrepreneurship
Saturday 17 October
10.00am to 11.00am – St Luke's Church.
Priority area: Health and Wellbeing

Where has the week gone?!

Fridays we have our Knit and Natter group in the morning- only £2 for a cuppa and biscuits, some knitting and lots of chatter!

From 3.30pm in the afternoon we have our free afterschool club (which is held in St Barnabas Church)- time for the kids to play together, colouring and games and they get their tea!
There are a couple of spaces available if you have a young person who would like to join- you just need to pop along and fill in a registration form.
