Ashtanga Half Led Primary Series 17:30-18:30 - Sunday 23rd November with Activate Yoga with Megan
bookable online www.activateyoga.co.uk/classes

The Ashtanga Half Led Primary Series is a shortened version of the Primary Series, focusing on standing and seated postures to build strength and flexibility without the full, more advanced sequence. It typically incorporates Surya Namaskara (Sun Salutations) and the initial standing postures, followed by a portion of the seated and closing sequence, all guided by the rhythm of the breath and the traditional Sanskrit count for each pose.

18:00-19:00 - Friday 10th October Arm & Core Yoga workout with Activate Yoga with Megan bookable online www.activateyoga.co.uk/classes

This fun and dynamic yoga-inspired workout is perfect for maximising your arm and core strength. If you want to improve your yoga / inversions and arm balancing, this is the class for you. This semi-regular class is being slowly introduced as an add-on to the schedule to introduce you to a different side to Activate. It's challenging, but adaptable for everyone. We will have gentle, cool-down stretches at the end to wind down to.

AGM this Wednesday, please come and support our lovely hall

Thank you for all the interest and offers of support following our last post.
I just want to reiterate the hall is doing really well, it is a busy, well used hall, which is one of the reasons we need more support.

The AGM will be held on the 17th of September, please come along if you feel you can support in any way. We'll provide refreshments for adults and children as aware childcare can be a struggle.

We will be able to share where we are with the running of the hall, anything we need to do to become a registered charities and discussions about what we need to do to move forward.

****Support needed****

Not a post I like writing, but unfortunately our lovely hall is at risk of closure in the next year, to stop this happening we need more people involved.
We haven't raised prices (apart from £1 to the hourly rate) for years, but as it's a busy, well used village hall, due to the income generated (despite the outgoings of an old building) we have been told it has to become a registered charity.... if it doesn't we can't get insurance.... without insurance it has to close.
The few of us on the committee have started looking into this, but the long and the short is we need more people to help, we need trustees and people to help with the decisions, opinions on running the hall.
It doesn't take much commitment, we only meet quarterly, including the AGM. If anyone is willing to help please get in touch or come along to the AGM in September, full details of this will follow.

Apologies for the long post and again not one I like writing, but unfortunately needs must 😕
