Research by ADHD expert Dr Russell Barkley suggests that executive functioning in people with ADHD can develop more slowly, sometimes roughly 30% behind same age peers!

That’s why understanding, tailored support, and practical strategies matter so much, not just for individuals with ADHD, but for families, schools, workplaces, and communities too.

Our training and support services are designed to help neurodivergent individuals thrive by building confidence, strengthening executive functioning skills, and creating environments where people feel understood and empowered.

Whether you’re a parent, educator, employer, or professional, we’re here to provide practical, compassionate, neuroaffirming support that makes a real difference.

Ever felt like you want two completely opposite things at the same time?

You are not alone.

For many people with AuDHD, this daily push and pull can feel exhausting, confusing, and often misunderstood by the people around them.

Wanting structure… but feeling trapped by it.
Needing stimulation… but becoming overwhelmed by it.
Wanting to be understood… but struggling to explain what’s going on.

These aren’t contradictions. They are lived experiences.

And this is exactly why understanding matters.

At AP Cymru, we don’t just talk about neurodiversity, we live it.

Our training & consultancy is designed to help:

♾️ Workplaces better support neurodivergent staff
♾️ Schools create truly inclusive environments
♾️ Professionals feel confident, not confused
♾️ Teams move from awareness → to real, practical change

Because when you understand the why, everything shifts.

💜 More compassion
💜 Better communication
💜 Environments where people can actually thrive

If this resonates with you or your organisation, let’s have a conversation.

FOCUSING TIPS FOR ADHD — but here’s the truth most workplaces miss…

We share tools like these every day with families. Because they work.

But here’s the uncomfortable reality:

Most neurodivergent adults already know these strategies.

What they don’t have… is an environment that allows them to use them.

🤓 You can’t “use short work bursts” in a culture that rewards constant availability.
🤓 You can’t “reduce visual clutter” in a hot-desking, high-noise office.
🤓 You can’t “ask for help” in a workplace where being misunderstood feels risky.

So people don’t struggle because they lack strategies. They struggle because the system wasn’t designed with them in mind.

And this is where organisations are getting it wrong.

Neuroinclusion is not about giving individuals a list of tips. It is about creating environments where those tips are actually possible.

That’s exactly what we do at AP Cymru – The Neurodiversity Charity.

Our training doesn’t just raise awareness —
it gives your managers and teams the confidence to:

✔ Understand what’s really happening beneath behaviour
✔ Make small, meaningful adjustments that reduce overwhelm
✔ Build cultures where people don’t have to mask to succeed

Because support isn’t just policies and processes… it’s nervous systems.

If your organisation is ready to move beyond awareness and into real change, we’d love to work with you.

Thank you to Dr Carly Jones MBE for highlighting the struggles that we often face having a diagnosis of autism & ADHD.

We have a NEW training programme with a sole focus on AuDHD, explaining what it means, how the two neurotypes intersect, and why this unique experience is so often misunderstood, mislabelled, or missed entirely.

This isn’t theory.
This is lived experience.

We explore the internal push and pull, the need for routine vs the need for novelty, the burnout that comes from masking both, and the reality of trying to function in environments that were never designed for brains like ours.

Because AuDHD isn’t just “autism + ADHD”…
It’s its own experience — and it deserves to be understood properly.

Through this training, we help organisations, professionals, and communities move beyond awareness and into real, meaningful support, the kind that actually makes day-to-day life easier, safer, and more sustainable.

And here’s why this matters…
Every time we deliver this training, it directly funds the lifeline support we provide to children, young people, and families through AP Cymru.

So when you book us, you’re not just learning - you’re changing lives.

If your workplace, school, or organisation is ready to truly understand AuDHD — and make a real difference — get in touch today.

Share this with your employer, your networks, your communities. Start the conversation.

Because the more people who understand AuDHD… the fewer people will have to struggle in silence.
