Kagyu Samye Dzong Cardiff, Tibetan Buddhist Centre Cardiff Tibetan Buddhist Centre We organise and run regular classes in Buddhist meditation, philosophy and Vajrayana Buddhism. All are welcome at our events.

Welcome to Kagyu Samye Dzong, Cardiff Tibetan Buddhist Centre serving the people of Cardiff, Caerphilly and all surrounding areas. We are a community of experienced meditators and professional Mindfulness trainers and are affiliated with the world-famous Samye Ling Monastery in Scotland the first - and largest - Tibetan Buddhist monastery founded in the West by Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche and the late Choje Akong Rinpoche, and overseen by Lama Yeshe Losal Rinpoche. We transmit and practice the teachings of the Karma Kagyu lineage of Tibetan Buddhism, which have been handed down without break from master to disciple from the first Karmapa to the present, Karmapa Ugyen Thinlay Dorje. We also host mindfulness courses in conjunction with Samye Foundation Wales in Cardiff, Caerphilly and the surrounding areas as well as retreats and other events. Our courses in meditation are not aimed at converting people to Buddhism, and everybody is welcome to attend, to learn meditation for therapeutic reasons and to overcome the stresses and strains of modern life. We are an inclusive community, and do not discriminate on any grounds. KSD Cardiff is run entirely by a team of volunteers.
