In our Swansea ESOL class last week, learners practised language to help with everyday conversations and group discussions.
The class explored different ways to agree with someone, disagree politely, ask people to repeat or explain something, and join conversations more naturally. Learners came up with their own sentences and examples throughout the session, which were written on the board and discussed together.
During the second part of the session, everyone worked in smaller groups to practice the different phrases through conversation tasks. It was great to see learners getting involved, sharing ideas, and becoming more confident speaking in front of others as the session went on.
