🇬🇧We are pleased to share the outcome of a collaboration between ROUCA – Romanian Organisation for Community Advancement and The Patients Association.
Earlier this year, The Patients Association approached us to support the promotion of a patient survey and consultation activities exploring people’s experiences of accessing healthcare services in the UK.
Members of the Romanian community responded to this call and shared their experiences and perspectives. Their contributions helped highlight some of the challenges faced by people for whom English is not their first language when navigating healthcare services.
As a result of this initiative, The Patients Association has now launched patient information resources translated into Romanian, helping patients understand their rights, access support and make the most of their healthcare appointments.
We are delighted to have contributed to this initiative and to see the voices of the Romanian community heard and reflected in the development of these resources.

🇷🇴 Suntem bucuroși să împărtășim rezultatele unei colaborări dintre ROUCA – Romanian Organisation for Community Advancement și The Patients Association.
La începutul acestui an, The Patients Association ne-a contactat pentru a ne solicita sprijinul în promovarea unui sondaj și a unor activități de consultare privind experiențele pacienților în accesarea serviciilor medicale din Regatul Unit.
Membri ai comunității românești au răspuns apelului și au contribuit prin împărtășirea experiențelor și perspectivelor lor. Aceste contribuții au ajutat la evidențierea provocărilor întâmpinate de persoanele pentru care limba engleză nu este limba maternă atunci când accesează servicii de sănătate.
Ca rezultat al acestei inițiative, The Patients Association a lansat acum materiale informative traduse în limba română, care îi ajută pe pacienți să își înțeleagă drepturile, să acceseze sprijinul disponibil și să beneficieze cât mai mult de consultațiile medicale.
Ne bucurăm că am putut contribui la această inițiativă și că vocea comunității românești a fost auzită și valorificată în dezvoltarea acestor resurse.
