We’re proud to announce that Llamau and Cardiff Women’s Aid have officially merged. Together as one organisation we strengthen our fight to end homelessness and abuse for women, children and young people across Wales.
With a shared vision and decades of specialist experience between us, this merger marks a significant step forward in delivering trauma-informed, person-centred support where it’s needed most.

We will continue to champion the rights of women and young people — offering safety, stability, and the chance to rebuild lives free from violence and fear.

💙 Join the Cardiff Half Marathon 2025 with Cardiff Women’s Aid! 💙

We’re thrilled to announce that six charity positions are now available for the Cardiff Half Marathon 2025.

By taking one of our charity places, you’ll have the incredible opportunity to run on behalf of Cardiff Women’s Aid and make a real difference in the lives of women and children in need.
Registration is now open!

It's £20 to sign up, when you pledge to raise £300, which could transform lives in the following ways:
💙 £50 could cover the cost of one night in a safe refuge for a woman in crisis.
💙 £200 could provide a child with 10 one-to-one support sessions with our dedicated CYP team.
💙 £500 could fund the Cardiff RISE helpline for 24 hours, offering critical support to those in urgent need.
