Urgent news update.

At the game at The Vale, Lakes Course, yesterday, Rodney Bird, our oldest member and a member of The Leys since we started 65+ years ago recorded a hole in one, yes, a hole in one on the 10th par three.

One swing, on the green, two small bounces and straight in the hole for a score of one gross, net -1 and a Stableford score of 5 points!

Well done, Rodney, who on return to the club house, stepped up and brought all members present a drink! That's The Leys not everyone there, not too much for his wallet!
