Some highlights of this month.
1. Our mangetout (Golden Sweet) are doing great!
2. A new wildflower has arrived: Fumitory. We like to grow our veg close to a variety of wildflowers from which pollinators (as well as our veg) benefit
3. Our first proper no-dig bed. The brassicas along with the beetroots that we planted in there are looking very happy :)
4. We were pleased to take part in the seedling swap organised by Splo Splo-Down Food Coop

Come and meet some furry friends in Splott next Wednesday, 14th August! We have a lovely family event with National Energy Action from 1.30pm - 3pm with animals and face painting for children and money saving advice for grown ups! Free drinks and snacks too.
