We're looking forward to Sight Village in Llandudno next month!

Local to North Wales? Sight Village is coming to Venue Cymru in Llandudno on Tuesday September 22. It's a chance to explore the latest and best equipment, resources and services available to blind people and those with sight loss. Para-archer Nick Thomas and photographer Paul Jenkinson will be there to share their stories. The event runs from 9am-4pm and tickets are free. Ring 0121 803 5313 or email [email protected]

Guide dog owners are still being wrongly turned away from businesses and services they have every right to use. In fact, nearly 90% of guide dog owners have faced an access refusal, some of them repeatedly.

That’s why, later this year, we’ll be taking to Parliament to call for change.

Over 9,000 people have responded to the Glaucoma UK National Patient Voices Survey, making it the largest UK survey of glaucoma patient experience.

This incredible response is thanks to every organisation and individual who has helped spread the word. From clinic teams and volunteers handing out paper surveys to people messaging neighbours on WhatsApp, passing leaflets to their window cleaners and sharing our posts, every single one of you made this happen. A special thank you to Well Pharmacy whose support delivered a huge boost in responses before the weekend.

Every response matters, and this level of participation gives decision-makers compelling evidence and a true national picture. With a few weeks to go, we are closing in on our goal of 10,000 responses. If you have not taken part yet, you could be number 10,000!
