We’re delighted to share some exciting news!

Home-Start Cymru is pleased to have been awarded a The National Lottery Community Fund/ Cronfa Gymunedol y Loteri Genedlaethol

This important support will enable us to work alongside the families we support, our dedicated volunteers, and key stakeholders to shape and strengthen the project. We’re especially pleased to be collaborating with our partners Wild Blossom Forest School and Cardiff University as part of this journey.

Together, we’ll be exploring how meaningful interactions with nature can improve the wellbeing of babies, young children and their families - building confidence, resilience, and connection through the natural world. 🍃

We’re looking forward to listening, learning, and co-designing an approach that truly reflects the needs, strengths, and experiences of our communities.

Great to be at event today hosted by WCVA | CGGC

Our team has enjoyed connecting with organisations across Wales and hearing positive messages from people, including Deputy First Minister Sioned Williams AS/MS Williams on the importance of trusted community and voluntary organisations, early intervention, prevention, volunteering, and communities taking action together to create place-based change. 💙

Something for the whole family - FREE forest school sessions for children under 5 and their grown-ups at Wild Blossom Forest School between Caerphilly/ Cardiff📍

We're offering families with children under 5 years old a FREE trial forest school session at Wild Blossom Forest School as part of the development of our Nature Nurtures programme. 🌿

Families can enjoy a range of nature-based activities like den-building, bug hunting, water play, or just kick back with a hot drink and soak up the peaceful forest environment.🐛🐜🛖🐞🌳
