This Sunday at 1pm in Roath Park (at the Scott Memorial) we will be meeting with others who have Scoliosis. Everyone is welcome. The walk is not necessary if you just want to meet others.

📢 We have written to Welsh Government following a recent UK Supreme Court judgement on deprivation of liberty safeguards under the Mental Capacity Act.

The ruling has immediate implications for people across Wales, so we’re calling for urgent clarity to ensure people’s rights continue to be protected in practice - including clear guidance, consistent approaches, and access to independent review and advocacy.

This is about making sure people’s rights are upheld and their voices are heard, especially at a time when the healthcare system is under pressure.

At Llais, we’ll continue to speak up on behalf of people and communities, and seek assurance that these changes strengthen - not weaken - the protection of rights in Wales.
