Bulldog Club of Wales Championship show 7th February 2026
My thanks to the Bulldog club of Wales for the invitation to judge the show and to the committee for their welcome and my both Stewards for the efficient way the show ran.
Baby puppy dog (2)
1st Freeman. Boyattbull Bob Briscoe at Testwood . White with red markings, quality well balanced young pup, correct front, lovely head and expression with neat ears, well off for bone , should have a bright future.
2nd Hanley. Blenhiemstar Seen Hellrise. Red and white four-month-old nice quality puppy , giving a lot away age wise nearly 2 months in a baby puppy is a lot, good front and head, short coupled, another very promising pup.
Baby puppy bitch (6/3)
1st James Boyattbull Miss Crazy Mazie. Red and white young pup, wide front good bone lovely head, wide foreface, lovely dark pigment, dark eyes, neat ears another promising pup.
2nd Hanley Blenheimstar Rose Up Again. Flashy red and white puppy with really good front and tight feet, nicely balanced, short coupled well angulated hind quarters, again giving away lot to age of class winner again a quality pup.
3rd Hanley Blenheimstar Ghost of You.
Veteran dog or Bitch (2)
1st Flatt CH. Belstock Papa Don’t Preach. Red and white in immaculate condition Strong headed bitch with wide sweep and turn of underjaw, good layback, good front with correct tacked on shoulders, pear shaped body, huge rib, straight tail, moved well.
2nd Davies Baalzebull Venus. Red and white top-quality bitch in immaculate condition, again a good front, moved and showed well difficult choice between first and second.
Minor Puppy Dog (4/2)
1st George Avaword Dewi. Dark red and white standard size with good bone, good wide sweep and turn of underjaw, good layback, dark eyes neat ears, strong bone, short coupled.
2nd George & Jacobs .Avaword David. Red and white pup, good bone tight feet, nice head dark eyes good turn and sweep of underjaw.
Puppy Dog. (4/2)
1st Cradock Suluma Obi Wan Kenobi. Red and white strong headed quality pup, stood four square, good shoulder placement, good underjaw and layback, nice square flat skull, neat ears , good body shape and short coupled, handled and showed well
2nd Burt Onabazz Papa John Ianbeldere . White with red markings, Another strong headed dog, widest of underjaws, a real sour expression, good layback, dark eyes , good ear placement, well off for bone, good body shape and topline.
Junior dog ( 3)
1st Simpson Jackarhys Unwritten. Flashy dark red and white standard sized top quality bulldog, completely balanced , superb front with correct tacked on shoulders, straight bone down to tight feet, lovely head properties, good sweep and turn of underjaw, correct layback, small neat nose roll, lovely dark clear eyes, finely wrinkled skull, good reach of neck , pear shaped short coupled body , correct topline , low set straight tail. Pleased to award BP & RDCC.
2ND Bradshaw Brarabus Maximus.Red and white standard sized balanced young bulldog in lovely condition, good head with nice turn and sweep of underjaw, good layback, wide open nostrils, broad skull with neat ears, good front, good body shape and topline.
3rd Edward Suluma Chewbacca .
Novice Dog ( 2)
1st Edward Suluma King Edward. Red and white heavy-set dog, good strong head with square flat skull, low set ears, dark eyes with good pigment, good wide front, good tacked on shoulders
2nd George &Jacobs Avaword David.
Postgraduate dog. ( 4/2)
1st Braso & Braso Blenheimstar City Limits Flashy red and white good quality bulldog with a lovely head and wide underjaw with good strong foreface and expression and not overdone in any way, a good front with straight bone and tight feet , nice reach of neck , good topline, moved and showed well.
2nd Evison Kikuchi Yogi Bear. Dark red and white standard size quality balanced bulldog with lovely front , nice hindquarters , wide shoulder nicely tacked on, nice square flat skull, correct ears set wide apart, dark clear eyes, good layback, difficult choice between these two.
Limit Dog (5/1)1st Nash Smoochabull The Siege JW stand out class winner brindle and white standard size top quality dog , correct front, stood four square, lovely head with no exaggeration, good arched neck, nice pear shaped body, short coupled, correct neat hindquarters, moved and showed well.
2nd . Burt Ruakuri Chasing Time Ianbeldere. Red and white, nicely headed dog, good sweep and turn of underjaw , correct layback, good front, nice body shape, short coupled moved and showed well.
3rd Hanley Blenheimstar Great Spirits.
Open Dog (6/5)
1st Freeman Testwood Total Eclipse. Red and white Standard size exceptional quality bulldog . dog I’ve always admired from the ringside and didn’t disappoint, superb correct bulldog front with good depth of chest , plenty of bone, deep brisket, good width and length of foreface , lovely sweep and turn of underjaw and nice fit of mouth , correct layback, good width and length of skull, neat small rose ears, correct pear shaped body ,nice light hindquarters, in pristine condition and moved effortlessly around the ring with correct bulldog movement. Pleased to award DCC .
2nd MacDonald. Frederick of the Hollybullz at Winnenbru. Red and white strong heavy set bulldog lots of substance and bone, flat skull with neat ears, dark eyes, enough neck and good rib, moved and showed and handled well.
3rd Holmes &Holmes and Foster . Ch Shottle King Edward at Tedsbull.
Minor puppy bitch (12/2)
1ST Sibbick Treasurabull Ice Queen. White promising young bitch, correct size for age, lovely head with wide underjaw and good turn up and layback with dark eyes, neat rose ears, square flat skull, lovely front with correct tacked on shoulders, good body shape, moved and showed well.
2nd George Avaword Bonnie , Red and white young bitch, well off for bone, nice wide front , stood four square, good head, nice in profile, in nice condition, handled well.
3rd George and Jacobs . Avaword Blodwen Bach .
Puppy Bitch (5/2)
1st Harding. Wilson pride It was it is. White with red markings very promising young bitch, with nice wide front, good head and lovely expression, should have a bright future.
2nd Saafan.Geovanic Fiery Zest , flashy red and white balanced young bitch with good head , nice underjaw, nice front, plenty of bone.
3rd Mayes Blenheimstar Legacy at Pectus.
Junior Bitch (2)
1st Kent & Kent Mystyle the Duchess at Unverdadero.Red and White feminine young bitch with beautiful head with nice, neat nose roll, flat skull, and correct ear placement, clear dark eyes, wide underjaw . nice front with deep brisket, enough bone, shown in nice condition and moved well
2nd Bradshaw Brabrabus Priscilla. Fawn and white another standard size strong headed bitch with good width and length foreface and widest of underjaws with attractive dark pigment around the eyes heavier set type to first but still a quality young bitch.
Novice Bitch ( 5/4)
1st George & Jacobs Avaword Blodwen Bach. Stood alone in class placed 3rd in mpb.
Postgraduate Bitch ( 6/4)
1st Mayes Blenheimstar proud Mary at Pectus. Difficult to choose between first and second. Flashy red and white in immaculate condition, standard size , lovely feminine short coupled bitch, good head with flat square skull and nice turn and sweep of underjaw , wide nostrils, straight bone and tight feet.
2nd Hanley Blenheimstar Oshkosh. Red and white again a top-quality feminine bitch correct size , and good head with width and sweep of underjaw and nice body shape with a good front enough bone shown in good condition moved and handled well.
3rd Wiltshire Porth Pearl Oyster.
Limit Bitch (10) One of the strongest classes of the day.
Ist Gillett Onabazz Miss Olympea. White with red markings. Top quality strong headed bitch fantastic broad square flat skull with neat rose ears, tremendous width and depth of foreface, widest of underjaws giving a classic sour expression, beautiful front with correct tacked on shoulders, correct pear-shaped body with light neat well angulated hindquarters. Nice in profile. Moved and showed well. Pleased to award RBCC and RBIS.
2nd Rose Jackarhys Eclipse Rosebull.White bitch again of the highest quality, standard size feminine bitch with the widest of underjaws and a lovely front, plenty of bone down to neat tight feet, correct body shape, in good condition, shown well.
3rd Bland & MCelliot Kingrock Jemima Puddleduck.

A class full of quality
1st Flatt CH. Belstock The Goomer . Red & white excellent quality bulldog bitch with fantastic bone, front and shoulder placement, broad square flat skull with clear dark eyes, excellent sweep and turn of wide true underjaw giving a classic sour expression and small, neat nose roll, well-padded cheeks, well off for pigment, correct front and shoulder placement , excellent rib and neat hind quarters. BCC and BIS
2ND Nieman Ch Kinglockbulls paint it Gold. Another female bulldog of the highest quality again with strong head with wide underjaw, nice dark pigment and clear dark eyes, flat square skull and correct ear placement. beautiful front, nice reach of neck and lovely pear-shaped body, shown in lovely condition.
3rd Speakman Ch Ryadjobe Stir it up.
