It's Sunday, and the weekend just got even better thanks to Fabulous Welshcakes .🤩

On each Sunday, throughout August, when you buy a delicious milk chocolate and pistachio Welshcake from either of their shops in the Castle Arcade or Mermaid Quay in Cardiff Bay, 10p from every Welshcake sold will be donated to Cardiff Foodbank.

Today is Financial Awareness Day – a chance to take a moment to review your financial wellbeing and find out what support might be available if you’re worried about money, budgeting or debt.

Organisations in Cardiff that offer free, confidential advice, include Cardiff Council’s Money Advice Team, Citizens Advice, Riverside Advice Cardiff and Speakeasy Law Centre.

That’s why advisers from Cardiff Council’s Money Advice Team and Citizens Advice are regularly at our food bank sessions, offering people a chance to get support beyond the food parcel.

There’s no judgement – just clear, practical information and, where possible, support and advice to help you increase your income and access financial support. You're not alone.

We'd encourage you to take five minutes for your financial wellbeing and to explore the free support available.

As well as distributing food parcels, our centres also provide toiletries and cleaning products. We are always grateful for any donations but take a look to see what we are most in need of at the moment.
