Hope Cardiff Creating safe listening spaces that encourage social inclusion, foster wellbeing, & nurture hope. We are going public with hope!

Seeking to promote social inclusion, mental health and wellbeing through collaboration, connection, creativity and care.

'Hope' aims to relieve the needs of those people who are socially excluded and assist them to integrate into society, and we provide voluntary counselling, education and support to those suffering from depression, bereavement, and loss. We believe in creating safe listening spa

ces, and carry out our work through a variety of Cardiff based projects:

- Going Public uses action and creativity to bring hope to young people. Through interactive workshops, school partnerships and our 'residency' internship programme it offers safe environments to encourage the mental health and wellbeing of 11-25s.

- The Tavs Centre aims to engage, support and empower people in Cardiff addressing issues arising from homelessness, addiction, mental health difficulties and isolation.

- The Junction Cardiff is a non-judgmental support service for anyone who has experienced any form of baby loss. It aims to provide a caring and safe atmosphere for individuals or couples to talk confidentially to trained advisors. Registered Charity Number: 1161235

🍔 Burgers, Sundays, 17.00-18.00 at Tavs 🍔

Our weekly burger night is a core part of the Tavs community as we gather around hot food and get to know each other. Anyone is welcome and burgers are free.

Celebrating 5 years of the Tavs Food Co-op! 🙌 🥳

Whilst on the surface it may seem a shame to celebrate that a food co-op needs to be open for five years, what we have seen is that there will always be a need for folks to find somewhere to feel welcome and to belong. The Tavs Food Co-op is a real gateway into community and we’re excited to see how this community will continue to grow.

A big shout out to Sue and Dave who were already upstairs serving teas and coffees, when this photo was taken!

And a big THANK YOU to everyone who has been involved in helping at the Food Co-op across those five years, whether by collecting food, donating food or money, setting up rows of tins, greeting someone in the rain, helping to complete a wordsearch, filling a bag of groceries, providing a listening ear or by praying for the work.
