National Youth Dance Wales premiered 'Twenty Tales' last night at The Riverfront Theatre, alongside Ballet Cymru.

Our awesome dancers showcased their skills to a full audience. Congratulations to the company of 2023.

Applications are open for our 2022 dance ensemble!
We’re looking for dancers aged 16 – 22 to join National Youth Dance Wales in 2022.
We can offer free auditions to anyone who can’t afford the audition fee – no questions asked. Plus, with our bursary scheme, if your annual household income is under £55K, you’re entitled to a discount on membership fees of between 35% and 100%
Members who join our national ensembles will:
Work with the best choreographers and dance artists
Perform to a very high standard in venues across Wales
Meet performers from across Wales
Make lifelong friends and have fun making work on our summer residencies
Participate in a year-round programme of digital resources, masterclasses and training
We especially want to encourage young people who might not usually audition or put themselves forward, as well as young people from communities currently underrepresented within the Arts. This includes young people from ethnically diverse backgrounds, D/deaf, Disabled and Neurodiverse young people and young people from lower-income backgrounds.
