Ty Canna needs your help.
Many of you will know the incredible work that Tŷ Canna does to support people living with mental health challenges across Cardiff. A planning application has now been submitted for a new purpose-built outreach centre, and members of the public have the opportunity to leave comments in support of the proposal.
If Tŷ Canna has helped you, a family member, a friend, or if you simply believe Cardiff needs better mental health facilities, please consider taking a few minutes to submit a positive comment through the Cardiff Council planning portal.
There has been some misinformation regarding parking. The proposal does not increase the overall demand for parking. The new building will replace the existing Tŷ Canna building on the adjacent site. It will include dedicated staff parking, and once the existing building is no longer in use, its staff parking spaces will become available. The private car park where the new building is proposed is rarely used, so the development should not have any significant impact on on-street parking.
Every positive comment helps demonstrate the value that Tŷ Canna brings to our community and the importance of investing in modern mental health services.
