ACF Local Enterprise Champions - Meet Jamad Jibreel, founder of Ayeeyo's Kitchen.

Jamad saw an opportunity to create something missing in her community... a welcoming restaurant where women and families could enjoy authentic Somali food and experience the culture.

But turning that idea into a business wasn't without its challenges.

Jamad transformed a rather run down premises into a warm, friendly, family and welcoming café with encouragement form her family and support from AC.

Jamad has been able to access support from ACF including:

Today, Ayeeyo's provides a welcoming space for women, young girls and families, with plans for expansion and private catering.
