Hayley from Ty Penrhos raises over £1,000 for the Little Princess Trust 👏

Hayley has donated almost 11 inches of hair to the Little Princess Trust to support children and young people experiencing hair loss.

Alongside the donation, she has raised more than £1,000 through her fundraising efforts. Everyone at Ty Penrhos is incredibly proud of her kindness, generosity and determination.

A huge thank you to the family, friends, residents, colleagues and supporters who helped make this achievement possible.

We're celebrating a double victory today after both of our finalists were named winners at the prestigious Leaders in Care Awards!!

Joni Castle-Canavan, Operational Lead for Care, won the Leader of the Future Award, while the Cwmbran House Management Team were crowned winner of the Outstanding Contribution Award.

The awards celebrate individuals and teams making an exceptional contribution to social care, and both winners were recognised for their outstanding leadership, commitment to person-centred care and innovative approaches that improve outcomes for residents.

The success highlights Hafod's commitment to delivering high-quality care, supporting colleagues to thrive and continuously improving services for residents and their families.

The countdown is on! We’re looking forward to the Leaders in Care Awards on Tuesday 6 October in Birmingham, where Hafod will be represented by two fantastic finalists.

The Cwmbran House Management Team has been shortlisted in the Outstanding Contribution Award category, while Joni Castle-Canavan, Hafod’s Operational Lead for Care, has been named a finalist for the Leader of the Future Award 💜
