Monday nights at the Shack are Into the Woods rehearsals and I can’t believe we’re in October already! Show month is November so not long to go!!

Sondheim’s Into the Woods is one of those musicals that everyone needs to know, if you want to be a theatre kid! The music is beautiful, the songs will be familiar even if you don’t know the show. It’s funny, with iconic characters and famous fairy tales so even though this is a complex show - it feels accessible.

Sunday 15th November and Monday 16th November at The Talent Shack Theatre, Penarth Road, CF11 8EQ

Dare you step Into the Woods this November at the Shack?

Sondheim’s fairy tale musical, where the most beloved characters from those famous stories exist in the same universe at the same time and all impact each others lives, in the woods.

Talent Shack’s Young Company, to mark our 10th Anniversary, stages our first Sondheim and our first small cast musical. A moment to reflect on how far we’ve come and what we can achieve as a youth theatre.

Day 1 of a new term here’s Ash making everyone feel comfortable and welcome.
It can feel scary stepping into a new space where you imagine everyone knows each other already. But even for those who have been with us a while, the summers a long time and this is a new block of work for everyone.
So day 1 is always names and silly fun. Very important.
