Spent a fantastic couple of days at the GMB Asda Retail Conference at Quorn Grange with National retail reps from across the regions. Representing GMB Wales & South West were Rob Hancock (H&S lead rep), Gavin Norcross ( H&S Deputy Rep) and Sarah Allen-Aherne (Retail Lead Rep)

Ideas and conversations flowed and our reps got stuck in covering subjects from store security, campaigns, making working life better for our members to recognition agreements.

Out and about in Newport yesterday visiting members at the Telford Street. Depot. It was a busy and productive visit with NJC pay ballots completed, new members joining us and 2 new reps coming forward 💪

Today on International Workers' Memorial Day, we remember those who have lost their lives, been injured or made ill through work.

Every worker deserves safe working conditions, respect, dignity and equality in their job and GMB will always fight for this.
