A Remarkable Young Fundraiser: Eli’s Summer of Kindness
This summer, an extraordinary young boy named **Eli**, aged just eight, decided he wanted to make a difference.
One of Eli’s friends was diagnosed with **leukaemia** some time ago, and like many children with big hearts, he wanted to help in the most genuine way he knew. So, during his school holidays, Eli spent countless hours creating bead bracelets and keychains — each one carefully made, each one sold with a purpose.
Eli chose to raise money for the **Children’s Leukaemia Society**, despite having no personal connection to Wales and never having met us. His family simply wanted to support a small charity where his efforts would truly matter. To keep everything transparent, they set up a JustGiving page so every sale could go directly towards his fundraising:

What makes Eli’s story so special is not just the money he is raising — it’s the compassion behind it. An eight‑year‑old boy, spending his summer crafting items by hand, all because he wanted to help a friend and support children facing leukaemia. That kind of kindness is rare, and it deserves to be celebrated.
We are deeply grateful to Eli and his family for choosing our charity. Their generosity reminds us that even the smallest acts of care can have a profound impact.
From everyone at the Children’s Leukaemia Society:
**Thank you, Eli. Your hard work, your creativity, and your heart mean more than you know.**
