Part performance, part collective experience, GIVE US DANCE brings together 15 dancers, live DJ sets and immersive 360° visuals of Wales’ green landscapes.

With music weaving together rhythms from the African diaspora and electronic sounds from across the world, no two performances are the same.

There’s no separation between audience and performer. Everyone becomes part of the experience.

Followed by a Q&A with Krystal S. Lowe, IKAMBA and Onismo Muhlanga.

The sound system was FAT.

Mr. Scruff returned to CULTVR for the second 360º Potato Disco, joined by MC Kwasi and VJ Jim for a huge night of sound, visuals and dancing under the dome.

Scruff moved through soul, funk, reggae, house, electro, techno and everything in between, with Kwasi on the mic and Jim’s visuals wrapping right around the room.

Pamoja Disco Club + Beavs got things moving outside before the party shifted into the dome.

Top tips for low-light event photography 📸

Rhys is the superstar behind the photos across our events at CULTVR, and one of his biggest tips is simple: Don't be afraid of pushing your ISO.

It might seem tempting to keep your ISO low to avoid noise, but if that leaves you with an underexposed image, you’ll often end up introducing even more noise when you try to bring up the shadows and exposure afterwards.

It’s better to get the image where you want it in-camera, even if that means shooting at a much higher ISO. It's much easier to de-noise an image afterwards than to try and recover underexposed shadows.

Wax Tailor live at CULTVR 17 October

Isn’t Wax Tailor the kind of music you just want to be completely immersed in? Que Sera, Seize the Day, Ungodly Fruit... they already have that feeling of transporting you somewhere else for a moment.

Now there’s a rare chance to experience his Solo Set + AV Show in CULTVR.

Part of Cardiff Music City Festival, this will be his only UK live appearance in 2026.

Joining him on the night is Hip-Hop artist, rapper and producer Napoleon Da Legend

We’re incredibly excited to finally share Clara & The Nutcracker - Immersive Experience with you this Christmas.

This project is very close to our hearts, bringing a beloved festive story to life in a completely new way, all around you, under the dome.

Inspired by David Nixon CBE’s The Nutcracker, the experience combines captivating 360º footage of Northern Ballet’s world-class dancers with richly animated fantasy worlds and Tchaikovsky’s iconic score, performed by the BBC Concert Orchestra and surrounding you in immersive sound.

Created by 4Pi Productions and shaped by research from academics at the University of Oxford, Clara & The Nutcracker brings together dance, film, animation, music and immersive technology to invite audiences right inside Clara’s magical journey.

A Christmas experience for families, dance lovers and anyone ready for a little festive magic.

It still gives us goosebumps.

The Blackout took over the CULTVR dome, marking 15 years of Hope with a sold-out live show built for the space.

The crowd were delightful, with such brilliant energy from start to finish. There was moshing, singing, full-dome visuals, and it was spectacular. 🖤

This was one of the Welsh showcases for CATALYST 360°, supported by Arts Council of Wales.

MINDSET took over the dome with a beautiful mix of live instruments, modular synths, electronic sound and vibrant 3D animation.

Created by Natalie Roe and Beth Lewis, the performance moved through different emotional states and musical styles, with sound spatialised live throughout the space.

Teddy Hunter also helped spatialise the sound, making full use of CULTVR’s immersive setup.

A really special night of live music, visuals and experimentation under the dome. ❤️
