We had a great turnout today for our accredited Emergency First Aid at Work course. This popular course teaches essential life saving skills and is a great addition to a CV! A big thank you to Alan from Cardiff First Aid Centre for sharing his expertise. One learner said, "Today has been really enjoyable, I feel more confident now and hope to do more training courses as I get back into work. I am going to add my new qualification to my CV tonight!" Another said, "I came along to support my daughter on the course. I think it's really important that everyone knows what to do in an emergency- it can be a matter of life and death. We have both had a really great day!"

👩‍🍳 Our Little Cook Stars enjoyed their final cooking session of their course last week! 🌟
Next weekend, we’ll be welcoming a new group of children who will learn new cooking skills, discover more about healthy eating, build their confidence, and have lots of fun along the way.
We still have a few spaces available in this group for children aged 10–12 years who haven't attended before. If we have spaces we will extend this age range to younger/older children.

Our Strategic Tenant Panel took a trip to the Senedd this week 🏛️

The group had a tour of the Senedd, explored the history of devolution and learnt more about the role of Members of the Senedd and how decisions are made on issues that affect people and communities across Wales.

We then headed into the Siambr to watch Plenary in action, including First Minister’s Questions, giving tenants the opportunity to see first-hand how issues are discussed and debated in the Senedd.

It was great to hear how much everyone enjoyed the experience, coming away having learnt something new and with a better understanding of the Senedd and how it works.

A big diolch to everyone who took part and to the Senedd Outreach team for welcoming us. 💙
