An interesting Fact from Ofgem.
For an average family of 4. are paying £1663 for dual fuel energy Rising to £1723 in October 1st thats a 4% increase
And will be followed by yet another increase January 1st 2027
This is expected to take our energy to over £2000.
All while energy companies made £26.6
Billion in profits in the first three month of 2026 according to the ,
End fuel poverty coalition

Wales have on and off shaw wind farms but the government sold them to Norway and Denmark. So we will not benefit from windfarms .
This spike in the cost of energy will put million across Britain into fuel poverty all thanks to the government quango
OFGEM
This increase is not necessary. Other than for profit

So. On average those paying by DD .will pay £177 + per month for a family of 4

Anyone with a prepayment metre its more. Around £50 a week or £200 pm a considerable amount if on benefits
Thats £2400 annually. About £350 more than paying by DD.
Those on benefit will Pay more
