Join us for our next community litter pick as we get together to help keep our local area clean and welcoming.

Meet outside Ainon Church at 9am

All equipment is provided, so just bring yourself — and a friend if you can!

It’s a great way to enjoy some fresh air, get a little gentle exercise and make a real difference to the community we live in.

Free tea, coffee and cake afterwards!

It only takes around an hour or so, and every pair of hands really does make a difference.

Come along and be part of something positive in our community — everyone is welcome. We look forward to seeing you there. xx

On Sunday 30th August, we will be heading to for a Summer Social over the Bank Holiday weekend.

As in previous years, there will be no service at Ainon on that Sunday as we encourage everyone to join us at these shared events.😊

On Sunday 16th August we will be attending St Michael's Church, Tongwynlais for a special joint service as we come together to encourage one another and celebrate the unity we share across our community.

You may need to set your alarm clocks as St Michael’s service begins at 9:30am, so this will be an earlier start than usual for some of us!☺️

There will be no service at Ainon as we encourage everyone to join with St Michael's church. See you there.

Don't forget its our next dedicated children's worship session this Sunday, 9th August.

Children can head straight to the back hall at 10.30am while parents and carers make their way into the main church for the service.

As our Sunday Club leaders are taking a well-earned break, our children's worship team have kindly offered to look after the children with games, crafts and plenty of fun, giving parents and carers the chance to relax and enjoy the service. 😍

We can't wait to see you all there. ❤️

Our Citizens Advice Hub is at Ainon Baptist Church every Wednesday from 10am–4pm, making it easier to access free, confidential advice closer to home.

Whether you need support with money, benefits, debt, housing, rent, bills, employment, consumer issues or other everyday concerns, a trained adviser is here to help.

Pop in for a friendly chat – we're here for our local community.

We're incredibly privileged to be able to offer this service in our community, so please help us spread the word. As we've been reminded, "use it or lose it." The more people who make use of the hub, the better chance we have of keeping this valuable service for everyone.

Join us for our next Renew walk on Wednesday 5th August.

Meet outside The Lewis Arms, Tongwynlais at 9:30am
Please wear suitable clothing and footwear.

We’ll finish at Renew Ainon where there’ll be free tea, coffee and cakes (donations welcome).

Renew Café starts at 10:00am, with plenty to enjoy, including organised arts & crafts, Jigsaws and puzzle books, pool, meditation and quiet space

Friendly company and refreshments served all morning. Everyone is welcome, come along for the walk, the café, or both. We’d love to see you! 😊

Renew Café opens at 10.00am and offers a range of activities, including:

Jaye from Citizens Advice is also with us every Wednesday from 10.00am–4.00pm, offering advice and support on money, housing, benefits, and other issues. So please pop along, no appointment is needed.

The funeral of our lovely Joan Morgan will take place on Friday 7th August at 2:00pm at Thornhill Crematorium. This will be followed by a celebration of her life at Ainon Baptist Church, Tongwynlais at 3.15pm, and then light refreshments in the back hall.

Please share with anyone who knew Joan. As for attire, Joan would have wanted you to wear whatever you feel comfortable in.
Also, she loved bright colours, especially yellow, so many of us will be wearing something yellow to celebrate the sunshine she bought into our lives. Please feel free to do the same. X

Community Litter Pick – This Saturday

Join us for our next community litter pick on Saturday 25th July.

We’ll meet outside Ainon to collect litter-picking equipment before heading out to help keep our community looking its best.
