WOW, What a fantastic evening!

Our very first Paint & Sip at Ainon was a complete sell-out, and what a lovely evening it was.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along, to the wonderful creativetribe_club_by_raya for guiding us through our masterpieces, and to everyone who helped make the evening possible.

Lots of laughter, creativity, a little fizz and some fabulous paintings

Missed out? Don't worry, we're doing it all again on Friday 13th November with our sparkly Winter Edition.

Tickets are available now, so grab yours before they're gone. 😊

Tickets available from paint.ainon.co.uk

Join us Sundays at 10.30am for our morning service at Ainon Baptist Church.

Everyone is welcome, whatever your age or wherever you are on your faith journey.

After our time of worship together, children and young people head off to their own age-appropriate clubs for fun, activities and friendship.

And there’s always time for a cuppa and a chat after the service.

Whether you’re a regular or thinking of coming along for the first time, we’d love to welcome you! ā¤ļø

Loud, lively and lots of fun! 🌈

Children are always welcome and encouraged to join us in our usual Sunday services before heading off to Sunday Club , but our regular children especially love the second Sunday of each month, because that means Children’s Worship!

While the main service is taking place, the children have their very own worship time in the back hall, with music, dancing, instruments and plenty of fun.

Afterwards, they head straight into their usual Sunday Club sessions for more fun, activities and crafts. šŸŽØ

That means on Children’s Worship Sundays, you can bring them straight to the back hall when you arrive, get them settled in and then enjoy the main service knowing they’re having a brilliant morning of their own.

Whether your children come every week or you’ve never been to Ainon before, they’ll receive a really warm welcome.

Come and give it a try! 🌈🩷

Did you know you can see Citizens Advice right here in Tongwynlais?

We’re really fortunate to have a Citizens Advice drop-in every Wednesday at Ainon, saving you a trip into Cardiff city centre.

You can pop in for free, confidential and impartial advice on all sorts of everyday issues, including:

šŸ  Housing & renting
šŸ’· Benefits & money worries
⚔ Energy bills
šŸ’¼ Work & employment
šŸ“„ Forms, letters and paperwork
šŸ›ļø Consumer problems
…and lots more.

No appointment is needed, simply pop in and have a chat.

Please note our new opening time: Wednesdays, 10am–12pm at Ainon Baptist Church, Market Street, Tongwynlais

We’d really love to see our local community making use of this brilliant service. The more it’s used, the better chance we have of keeping advice available locally. šŸ’™

And while you’re here, Renew CafĆ© is open too, so you’re very welcome to stay for a free cuppa and a piece of cake afterwards.

Please share, someone you know might really benefit from knowing this is on their doorstep.

Some conversations matter, even the ones we sometimes avoid.

We’re hosting a relaxed and friendly morning at Ainon, giving people a chance to chat about some of life’s bigger questions, things we don’t always find easy to talk about in everyday conversation.

GraveTalk uses simple questions to get conversations started around life, death, funerals, grief and what matters to us. Despite the name, it’s not intended to be gloomy or heavy! 😊

There are no right or wrong answers, no pressure to share anything, and you don’t need to have any particular faith or belief.

Come along, grab a cuppa and join us for some open, honest conversation in a warm and welcoming space.

Everyone is very welcome. ā¤ļø

Renew Walk – Wednesday 7th October

Join Andy for a gentle guided walk around beautiful Tongwynlais, slowing down, taking notice of our surroundings and discovering a little about the flora and fauna along the way.
Meet outside The Lewis Arms, Tongwynlais at 9.30am

If you don’t fancy the walk this month, then pop into Renew CafĆ© from 10am–12pm at Ainon back hall for organised arts & crafts or bring your own projects to work on, sit in our quiet meditation space or help complete a puzzle. There’s always plenty of tea, coffee and cake.

Come for the walk, the cafĆ©, or both, everyone’s welcome! 😊

Ever wondered if there’s more to life, or just have a few big questions you’d love the chance to explore?

Why not give Alpha a try? We had a great time last week at our introduction to the Alpha course last week and we officially start on Thursday 1st October.

It’s really relaxed, we start with a short video at Ainon, before sharing a meal together at The Lewis Arms (our treat) and have a chat over our meal.
You don’t need to know anything about Christianity, you don’t have to agree with anything, and there’s absolutely no pressure.

Just come as you are, enjoy some good food and good company, and see what you think.
Sometimes the hardest part is just walking through the door, we’ll make sure there’s a friendly face waiting when you do. See you at Ainon back hall at 6.30pm. 😊
