The Attic Project - VCS This page was formerly known as the Chronicle which has now ended and exhibit currently resides at the VCS Cymru Office.

The Attic Project is a three year funded project by the Big Lottery that works with older people to manage their personal possessions while providing opportunities for volunteers to capture the memories triggered by the items in their homes. More information can be found on the Chronicle website. The project was to research, collate, digitise, and make publicly available the story of charities an

d volunteering from 1914 to 2014. The Attic Project is a three year funded project by the Big Lottery to be delivered in partnership by VCS Cymru and Care and Repair. The project is about providing opportunities for volunteers to work with older people to help them clear their homes from an accumulation of possessions while providing opportunities for reminiscence. As part of the project we are looking to record these memories to ensure these memories do not become lost and that the process of passing on items in to the community becomes an enjoyable and easier process.
