If you've been affected by dementia and live in Gwent, why not join the Dementia Voice Cafe? 💙☕

Our Dementia Voice Cafe is a friendly, informal monthly group where you can meet others, share your experience of dementia and help shape local services, support and campaigns.

Dates - Tuesdays on 20 October, 17 November, 15 December
Time - 1.00pm to 3.00pm
Location - Cwmbran Library, Gwent Square, Cwmbran, NP44 1XQ

Whether you'd like to influence change, connect with others or simply join the conversation, we'd love to welcome you!

🎉 Happy birthday to us. 🎉

Our official date of starting is 30th Sept 2020 although we started a lot earlier and our name was chosen by the community to become official.

Thank you to all the volunteers who keep us going, all the people who support our journey and those that come to use the food. Without any of you we wouldn't be running.

Here's to the next 6 years ;)

Last year, The Harmonic Hearts raised an incredible £1,926 for Alzheimer’s Society, and they’ve been doing the same in 2026. Their next show is this Saturday at the Diplomat Hotel in Llanelli, and tickets are available via their page.

To mark World Alzheimer's Month this year, Alzheimer's Society local Dementia Advisers and Merthyr Tydfil's Carer Support Coordinators will be hosting a relaxed and informal support session for unpaid carers, family members, and anyone affected by dementia.

Our dedicated Hospital Dementia Advisers are here to provide information, guidance and support during a hospital stay and as you prepare for discharge home.

We understand that a hospital admission can be a difficult and uncertain time. Our team can help you navigate the support available, answer questions, and ensure you have access to the right services and information when you need them most.
