Translation: It’s a UK Government severe alert about an extreme fire risk.

There is an extreme risk of fire across the whole area.

Residents, tourists and visitors should not take part in any activity that could cause a fire, including disposable barbecues, fire pits, garden incinerators or open fires.

Even a small flame can quickly develop into a large wildfire, putting lives, homes, businesses and emergency responders at risk.
