WE LOVE TOMATOES! What a great turn out at the weigh-in for our 5th annual tomato growing competition at V21 Sbectrwm on Friday. Great to see young growers (some who were back for their third year mind) alongside our more seasoned competitors, as well as our local community and customers going toe-to-toe (or tom-to-tom?) with our trainees. It’s all about bringing people together and it definitely did that. Congrats to Angharad and team from V21 Gardening for their winning fruit in the biggest category, with stiff competition from Oli, Alex, Tom, Kylie and Theodore who all went home as very worthy runners up. Good fun and good vibes. Keep an eye out for details next spring if you want to flex your green fingers and take on the V21 elite! We’d love to see you, and even if you don’t win you might get a nice tomato salad out of it.

Thanks to everyone who came to our V21 Festival Day yesterday at V21 Sbectrwm Centre. We hope you had a brilliant time!

A big thank you also to all the staff and volunteers who helped out on the run-up and the day, all the stall vendors old and new, and those who donated raffle prizes, including Let Them See Cake , Iechyd_da_cf14 , and Exitus Escape Rooms

Come and join us this Friday 31st July V21 Sbectrwm Centre for our summer festival day, 10.30 am - 1.30pm.

We have some brilliant craft stalls, games, food and treats and excellent raffle prizes, including a game for four Exitus Escape Rooms, a treat box from Let Them See Cake and a lovely gift box from Iechyd_da_cf14 and lots of other goodies!

Celebrated every July, Disability Pride Month is for anyone who is disabled – or anyone who wishes to show their allyship by celebrating their disabled colleagues, peers, friends, and family. Having a dedicated month provides a focal point. It's a time for embracing disability identity positively. And challenging the negative attitudes that are a barrier for disabled people.
