Celebrating Volunteers Week 2026 with this picture of a frog (or froglet to be precise) being released into the wilds of our V21 Community Garden. Let us explain! Our V21 Gardening volunteers have helped nurture these froglets from frogspawn, giving their enthusiasm, knowledge, experience, care, and respect just as they do with our trainees. This happens across all of our departments and is a very special part of what we do. Our volunteers also seem to disappear whenever there’s a camera about! We have people from all walks of life who freely share their time with us, and they share a humble modesty about the contributions they make and the impact they have too. So, we’re not saying that our volunteers are like little amphibians and are going to help control the slug population at Sbectrwm, but we are saying thank you and Happy Volunteers week to each and every one! 🙏☺️
