We just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has shared such lovely messages, memories, and stories about Jo. it has been really special to see just how many people loved Jo and how many lives were touched.
Jo’s funeral will take place on Wednesday 25th March 3:30pm at Thornhill Crematorium in the Wenallt Chapel.
Because Jo meant so much to so many people, we know the chapel can’t hold everyone who may want to be there. So we will also be streaming the service in the inspiration suite at the Village Hotel Cardiff where we will all be heading afterwards to spend some time together, sharing stories, laughs and celebrating Jo’s life the way Jo would have wanted. The rooms will be available from 3pm.
In true Jo style, it is not going to be a formal occasion, we’d love it if people didn’t feel they had to wear traditional black. Instead please feel free to wear a sports top from a team you play for, a team connected to Jo, something pink, or anything bright and colourful.
We kindly ask for no flowers, but if anyone would like to make a donation in Jo’s memory, we are setting up a fund to support Junior Wheelchair Basketball opportunities.
