Llamau Llamau provides support to young people, women and children in Wales fleeing domestic abuse or struggling with youth homelessness.

Offering 24/7 support - https://www.llamau.org.uk/resources We work with those facing homelessness, who experience poverty, abuse, and discrimination, and have significant health and educational needs. Our services include supported housing for 16 – 25 year olds, women-only supported housing, refuges for women and children, housing and welfare advice services, family mediation, assertive outreach

for teenagers on the brink of dropping out, and prevocational learning and training. We work closely with local authorities across Wales.

Pride Cymru, what a day! 🌈 Getting to march with you all through Cardiff, having the young people we support striding with us in solidarity, it meant the world💙 We show up at Pride because LGBTQ+ young people are significantly more likely to face homelessness, around four times more than their peers. And that’s something we must change.
Our wonderful choir, made up of young people and women we support, friends and advocates getting to sing on the main stage is a moment they'll never forget. We can't wait to do it all again next year! 🫶

Being homeless affects every part of your life. Sleeping outside or juggling an ever-changing network of sofas and floors is challenging and exhausting. Mental health issues can easily take hold💔

A huge thank you to all the incredible bands who performed, and to Patriot Home Of Rock for their continued support and hospitality.

Most importantly, thank you to Gina Hurley, who created Rock for Llamau and has dedicated the last 10 years to supporting Llamau. Your passion and commitment have made this event the success that it is today 🫶

Thank you to everyone who attended, performed, volunteered, and donated, over £3,000 was raised to support young people and women facing homelessness across Wales.

As a volunteer you'll:
