Six years ago, during Covid, our Choir couldn’t meet in person, so we started meeting online instead. It was strange at first, everyone singing from their own homes, trying to make something work when everything around us had changed.

And somehow, from all those separate homes and screens, we created this with the thanks to Bethan and her Dad Brian Freize for funding this incredible video.

Watching it back now, we are reminded of just how determined everyone was to keep going and stay connected. Looking at all those faces, we remember the people, the laughs, the rehearsals and the sheer amount of work by Bethan and Kevin that went into making this!
Six years later, we are still so proud of this. 🥰

Do you need some help with benefits or unsure what you may be entitled to?

We’re pleased to be a referral partner with the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), supporting people affected by cancer.

We can refer you to a dedicated DWP Support Officer for free, confidential advice, including:

• A benefits check to see if you may be entitled to any additional support
• Personal Independence Payment (PIP)
• Attendance Allowance
• Universal Credit
• Employment and Support Allowance (ESA)
• Carer’s Allowance
• Pension Credit
• And other DWP benefits and support

We’ll also be offering DWP drop-in sessions at our Hubs, giving you the opportunity to speak directly with a DWP Support Officer. Dates and venues will be announced soon.

Thanks to your kindness and generosity, an amazing £1,361.50 was raised for Ray of Light Cancer Support.

Every donation helps us continue supporting people and families affected by cancer, and we are incredibly grateful for the difference you have made.
