'Gathered together, more than the sum
of the jigsaw-puzzle pieces of our lives,
we seek to be the face of Jesus,
sharing his outlook, being a place to stay
for ones like us, life's broken, missing pieces:
to be an open door to hope's new day.'

Look out for the Solar Eclipse on 12th August - taking place during our summer series on LIGHT to live by! 🌒

Wales is about to witness its most spectacular solar eclipse in decades 🌘

On Wednesday 12 August, a partial solar eclipse will see the Moon pass in front of the Sun, covering around 90% of it across much of the UK. In parts of west Wales, including Pembrokeshire, up to 94% of the Sun will be obscured, making it one of the best places in the country to watch the event.

Across Cardiff, the eclipse will begin at 6.17pm, reach its maximum at 7.12pm, and end at 8.06pm.

It's set to be the deepest solar eclipse visible from the UK since the iconic 1999 eclipse, making it a must-see for skywatchers.

Did you see the 1999 eclipse? Tell us your memories. 🌘
