Keeping cool here at Glenwood!

We recognise the need for safe spaces away from the heat - and are grateful that our building can be kept relatively cool. So if you feel safe to get here, our regular groups and activities will be running. However, they will be adapted for the extreme heat - this will be communicated through the relevant channels (Look out for shutters down half way, cool ice children's play, lollies a'plenty, and world cup style hydration breaks in youth club!)

We're also taking donations for new deodrant & suncreams for Tavs - our project which works with those experiencing homelessness, poverty, & isolation. If you would like to donate towards these 'Summer Survival Packs' for Tavs, please do so by Sunday 5th July. Many thanks.

We're open all week for anyone to drop in and make use of our reflective and interactive prayer spaces. Opening times...

Monday 18th May: 09:00-21:00
* Open until late this evening

Tuesday 19th May: 09:00-17:00
+ Evening Prayer Gathering 19:30-21:00

Wednesday 20th May: 09:00-16:00
+ Children's Drop In (bring a grown up) 16:30-18:00

Thursday 21st May: 09:00-17:00
+ Youth Drop In (11-18s only) 18:30-20:00

Friday 22nd May: 09:00-14:00

There will also be our full programme of events and activities taking place as usual throughout the week. Look forward to seeing you.

Come along to our Compassion & Prayer week from 16th - 24th May! During this time the building will be open with prayer spaces: there will be quiet places to sit and be still in, as well as messy interactive spaces with prayer for all ages. There will also be opportunities to engage in these prayers as part of the regular activities and events which take place within the week.

So come along on your own, with a friend, with your household, volunteer team, or small group. The kettle will be on and we look forward to seeing you!
