Tan x mixer event.

This was a valuable space bringing together artists, organisers, creatives and music industry professionals to discuss the realities of building sustainable Black music culture and infrastructure in Wales and beyond.

From grassroots and artist development to representation, access, collaboration and the future of independent music spaces, this discussions was open, insightful and needed.

Thank you to everybody who contributed their voices, experiences and ideas. These conversations matter just as much as the performances.

Love to everyone who pulled up, performed, jammed, and shared space with us throughout the afternoon. From emerging artists to established musicians, the room was full of creativity, generosity and community.

Tân Cerdd x Focus Wales 2026.
Was an important few days of music, culture, conversations, connection and Black creative energy in Wrexham. ✨

From the showcase at Old No.7 to the Neo Soul Jam session & industry discussion with at The Lab, this was about more than performance.

We are out here platforming artists, building networks, keeping the door firmly open and showing the depth of talent coming out of Wales Now.

Big love to every artist, musician, creative, volunteer, audience member and supporter who helped make this happen.
