Huge thank you to all the artists who performed..🔥🙏🏿

You brought incredible music, musicianship and energy to the TÂN World Music Stage and Black Acoustic Stage at Brecon Jazz Festival 2026, and showed exactly why spaces like these need to keep growing.

Every year, we want to build on what came before and to continue developing a festival platform where Black music, Black and Global Majority artists, and emerging talent are programmed with ambition and presented alongside exceptional professional musicianship.

Our ambition is to grow these stages into a must-watch annual destination for Black music at Brecon Jazz Festival, known for brilliant live performances, discovering artists, and continue curating line-ups that showcase the breadth of Black music being made in Wales and beyond.
This is the legacy, building something artists want to play, audiences actively seek out, and emerging artists can progress through year after year.

This one is something very different…

This weekend we get to tick something pretty special off the list.

We’ve been invited to play as part of the legendary Brecon Jazz Festival… one of the UK’s most prestigious music festivals.

For decades it’s welcomed some of the world’s finest musicians and this weekend another chapter gets written…

The crazy part…

I’ll be playing at The Muse – a venue that’s hosted so many incredible artists over the years during the festival.

And if that wasn’t enough…

It also lands on my birthday 🎂

Life has a funny way of rewarding you when you stay locked in, trust the process and keep showing up.

To go from dreaming about moments like this… to now being part of a festival with this kind of history… I’m genuinely grateful.

Now… we’re bringing something a little different.

While the town celebrates jazz, we’ll be tucked away bringing the underground energy.

SHHH… IT’S HOUSE. 🤫

Sunday just got even bigger! 💥

We’re delighted to unveil the line-up for the expanded Tân Black Acoustic Stage, bringing together an outstanding collection of artists for a full day of intimate performances, storytelling and exceptional musicianship.
This exciting expansion has been made possible through the generous support of Creative Wales, via Welsh Government, enabling Tân and Brecon Jazz Festival to grow opportunities for Black artists and audiences while strengthening Wales’ contemporary music sector.
Alongside this support, we’d also like to thank Arts Council of Wales for supporting Tân’s wider programme across the festival weekend and helping make this ambitious collaboration possible.
A huge congratulations to every artist performing this year—we’re honoured to showcase such an inspiring line-up.

Across two days, we’ll be showcasing an exciting programme of emerging and established artists, celebrating the sounds, cultures and musical traditions of the African and Caribbean diaspora and their enduring influence on contemporary music.

Expect to hear neo-soul, r&b, jazz, funk, afrobeat and more. ✨

Taking place in the heart of Brecon, the Tân World Music Stage continues our commitment to creating opportunities for artists, developing audiences, and celebrating the rich cultural influences that shape music in Wales today.
