** Important BIDFOOD Transport Update **

The Union recognition ballot opens on the 20th May and closes at noon on the 4th June 2026.

It is very important that ballots are in the post by the 1st June at the latest please,to arrive on time. There must be a 40% turnout and return of ballots at the very least, for GMB and Unite to be your recognised Trade Union at Bidfood.

Please encourage your non GMB Union work colleagues to vote in this ballot, there has never been a more important time for Bidfood workers to fight for their rights, only all of you can put that ❌ in the box and change your futures, and stop Bidfood from worsening your terms and conditions of employment.

If you are a GMB Wales & South West member working as a courier @ Evri and you have not recieved your pay ballot, please contact our Cardiff Regional office on 02920 491260.

If you are working in another GMB region, you will need to contact your regional representatives or local GMB Office.

The ballot closes on 9th June and we are asking GMB Union members to reject the company 'pay offer'.

The 'offer' does not meet our members aspirations and for some, has the very real potential to result in a pay cut.

The company needs to hear loud and clear your resounding No!

EVRI get back around the table, and engage in real constructive negotiations based on the original members pay claim.

Not only have our GMB Union @ Evri members been given an undignified 'pay offer', they are also excepted to work in undignified conditions.

My visit today to an Evri site was interrupted with a very brisk 10 minute walk to the nearest supermarket!

There was evidence that for some, due to the pressure of the job/increased loads and needing to be on the road to start earning money, they are unable to do the same.

Our National and Regional GMB Wales & South West representatives will escalate this immediately and we expect a prompt resolution.
