We understand how lonely and overwhelming miscarriage can feel. Our support group offers a safe, welcoming space where you can talk, listen, or simply sit quietly with others who truly understand.

Join us for gentle conversation, shared understanding, and a chance to connect with people who have walked a similar path. There’s 𝗻𝗼 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗸 — just come as you are. 🤍

We’ll have tea, coffee and biscuits ready, because sometimes a warm drink and a caring space can make all the difference. ☕🍪

📣 𝗣𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗹𝗲𝘁 𝘂𝘀 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗶𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂’𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴!

It really helps us to know how many people to expect and means we can make sure we have enough refreshments and the right space set up for everyone.

It also means our volunteers can plan their time around the session rather than sitting around wondering whether anyone is coming! 😅

If you’re thinking of coming, please message us to let us know — even if you’re not 100% sure, a rough indication is really helpful. 🤍

Finding Comfort in Birthstones After Miscarriage

Birthstones, with their rich history and symbolic meanings, have long been cherished as tokens of identity, luck, and emotional healing. For many, they represent something deeply personal—our birth month, our connection to loved ones, or even the milestones we hold dear. In the face of loss, particularly after a miscarriage, these gemstones can offer a unique sense of comfort and remembrance.

A miscarriage is an experience of profound grief, often accompanied by a longing to hold onto the memory of the child who was lost. Birthstones provide a tangible way to honor that child. By wearing or holding a birthstone associated with the due date, conception date, or the month of the loss, grieving parents can create a lasting, meaningful connection to their baby.

For instance, a mother who experienced a miscarriage in May may find solace in an emerald, May’s birthstone, as a symbol of renewal and hope. Others might choose the birthstone of the month they had anticipated meeting their baby, using it as a quiet yet beautiful way to carry their memory forward.

Birthstone jewelry—rings, necklaces, or bracelets can become a cherished keepsake, a physical representation of love and healing. For some, the act of choosing or creating such a piece offers a small yet powerful step in the grieving process. Holding the gemstone or wearing it daily can serve as a reminder that while the loss is profound, the bond with the child remains eternal.

Moreover, the healing properties often associated with gemstones can provide an additional layer of comfort. For example, moonstone, though not a traditional birthstone, is often linked to fertility and emotional balance, offering solace to those navigating grief.

Ultimately, birthstones can serve as a gentle, enduring way to process loss and preserve a connection to the life that was so briefly yet profoundly felt. While the path to healing is deeply personal, these small, symbolic stones can help carry the weight of memory and love, reminding grieving parents that their child’s presence, though fleeting, remains an indelible part of their lives.

🤍 This time last year… 🤍

I was busy baking, experimenting and practising my cakes ready for our Afternoon Tea! 🧁🍰

There was definitely a lot of cake testing going on in our house… although I’m not sure my family ever complained! 😂

This year, things are a little different. We’re incredibly grateful that The New House Country Hotel are hosting our Afternoon Tea, so I’m taking a step back from the stress. ☕️🍰

Although I think my family are secretly a little disappointed that they won’t be getting quite so many “practice” cakes this year! 😂

I’m really looking forward to simply enjoying the afternoon, spending time with everyone and raising money for Morgan’s Wings. 🤍

📅 Sunday 30th August | 3–5pm
📍 The New House Country Hotel

It’s going to be a lovely afternoon and I can’t wait! 🤍
