City Hospice City Hospice is Cardiff’s local hospice, providing specialist palliative care and support to patients with life-limiting illnesses and their families.

Help us make a difference, shop, donate, volunteer, or fundraise today! City Hospice is the major provider of specialist home based palliative care for Cardiff. We are consultant led as well as providing specialist nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, welfare rights and social workers, pre and post bereavement counselling including children’s bereavement groups and complementary ther

apies. All of this is provided for free. Every year as a charity, we need to raise the majority of our 1.5m service costs. We do this through all sorts of fundraising events and activities, via our shops and with the support of local businesses and the fantastic community of Cardiff. We look after on average 550 patients and their families at any one time and demand for our service is increasing. 🌟 We’re Hiring: Community Fundraiser!

City Hospice is looking for a proactive, people‑focused individual to help drive the fundraising that supports Cardiff’s only provider of home‑based specialist palliative care.

In this role, you’ll build relationships across schools, clubs, businesses and local groups, lead community campaigns, organise bucket collections, represent us at events, and empower supporters to fundraise safely and confidently. No two days will ever be the same.

This event was all about celebrating you, the incredible volunteers whose time, passion and commitment make everything we do possible. It was so lovely to see so many of you come together, enjoy the afternoon, and take a moment to reflect on the difference you make.

They’ve bought each year’s flower, creating a growing collection of memories in their garden, each one a tribute to the man who filled their lives with laughter.

One week ago today, we welcomed supporters to the City Hospice Celebrity Golf Day at Cottrell Park Golf Club ⛳☀️

With the incredible support of our players, sponsors and supporters, we’re proud to share that this year’s event raised an amazing £19,000 for City Hospice 💙

This is a free event for young people aged 16 - 24 who are unsure about their next steps and want to explore their options.

You’ll be able to:
