🧹 Cleaning colleagues - we know many of you are worried about the news that Asda is outsourcing jobs to third‑party contractors. We will be looking into this properly and supporting cleaning colleagues through the TUPE process – because it’s not right that you’re being moved around without a real say in your future. ✊

Today we walked the Tamar Bridge from Plymouth and Cornwall in support of our Coastguard members and their fight for recognition. ✊

While plans to make Coastguards volunteers are paused, the issues remain. These dedicated workers save lives every day and deserve respect, protection, and a voice at work.

GMB has applied to the CAC for recognition, to improve health and safety and tackle bullying and harassment.

We stand with Coastguards. The support we give them is especially important as this Saturday is World Drowning Prevention Day.

It is time these courageous people were treated with the dignity they deserve 🧡🖤
